01 The agreement

These terms are between you and GlitchedLab ("we", "us"), the maker of the MissionAlarm iOS app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.

The app is distributed through Apple's App Store and its use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms and Apple's terms conflict on a point Apple's terms cover, Apple's terms apply to that point.

The app has no user accounts, so there is nothing to register and nothing to sign in to. Our Privacy Policy explains what that means for your data and forms part of this agreement.

02 Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use one copy of the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in accordance with these terms and the App Store rules.

We keep all rights we do not expressly grant: the app, its name, its interface, its artwork and its code remain ours. You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app, and you may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.

03 Three free mornings, then Pro

The app is a free download with a trial of three mornings. With no account, your first three mornings are free and everything is open: every mission, every alarm sound, mission stacking, streaks and morning cards, and up to three successful AI photo verifications. A morning is a day on which one of your alarms rang and you answered it, by snoozing it, stopping it or opening its mission; several alarms on one day count as one morning. A morning the app never saw ring, because the phone was off or out of battery, does not count, and setting alarms and the editor's test alarm cost nothing.

After the third morning is finished, your alarms switch off and stay off until you buy MissionAlarm Pro. A subscription or a one-time purchase is then required to keep using the alarm. The free mornings never run out in the middle of a morning: an alarm that is already ringing, or a mission already in progress, can always be finished, and the paywall never opens while an alarm is ringing. Your alarms are switched off only while you are in the app, on a screen that says so, and from then its Home screen says plainly that they are off. Deleting your data or reinstalling the app does not restart the three free mornings.

MissionAlarm Pro keeps your alarms ringing every morning after the third, with every mission and every alarm sound, mission stacking of two or three missions on one alarm, and AI photo missions with up to 10 verifications a day. Your streak and history stay on the device whether or not you buy Pro.

Prices are shown in US dollars. The App Store charges in your local currency at the price Apple lists for your storefront, which may differ, and may include tax. The price shown in the app at the moment you buy is the price that applies.

04 Subscriptions, billing and auto-renewal

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. We never see or handle your payment details.
• Monthly and Annual subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until you turn auto-renewal off.
• Apple charges the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• To avoid being charged for the next period, turn auto-renewal off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Turning auto-renewal off does not end your access immediately. Pro stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Apple does not refund the unused part of a period. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can ask on your behalf but we cannot issue an App Store refund ourselves.

05 Cancelling

Cancelling a subscription happens in your App Store subscription settings, never inside MissionAlarm. This is not a design choice of ours: no app on iOS can cancel an App Store subscription on your behalf, and no app can make a cancellation take effect immediately. Only Apple's own subscription sheet can do it, with its own confirmation step, and we learn the outcome afterwards.

The path is: open the iOS Settings app, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, choose MissionAlarm, and cancel there. The app's Settings screen has a Manage subscription row that opens the same Apple screen for you, so you do not have to go looking for it.

We put no retention tricks in the way. There is no discount interstitial in the cancel path, no confirm-shaming, and no row buried three levels deep. Cancelling never touches your streak or your history. When the period you paid for ends, your alarms switch off until Pro is back, and the app says so on its Home screen.

06 The free trial

There are two trials, and they are different things. The first is the app's own: your first three mornings are free, as section 3 describes, with nothing charged and no payment details asked for. The second is the App Store's introductory offer on a subscription:

• Monthly and Annual each offer a 7-day free trial where you are eligible.
• Monthly and Annual sit in one subscription group, and the App Store grants one introductory offer per Apple Account across that group. If you have already used a trial on either plan, the store will not grant a second one, and the app hides the trial wording when the store reports you ineligible.
• Unless you turn auto-renewal off at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription and Apple charges you.
• The store is the authority on your eligibility, not the app. The app shows what the store tells it.
• Lifetime carries no trial, because Apple does not offer introductory offers on one-time purchases.

07 Lifetime, honestly described

Lifetime is a one-time purchase that unlocks the same Pro features as a subscription, including your alarms after the three free mornings, with no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. It is restorable through the App Store on any device signed in to the same Apple Account, and it is for this Apple Account only: it does not carry to Android.

"Lifetime" means for as long as MissionAlarm exists as a product we distribute and support — not forever, and we will not pretend otherwise. If we discontinue the app, if Apple removes it from sale, or if a future version of iOS makes it unrunnable, the purchase ends with the product. It is not a promise of eternal service, and it is not transferable to another person or another platform. It also does not entitle you to a separate future product should we make one.

08 Restoring a purchase

Because there is no account with us, your purchase is held against your Apple Account. Restore Purchases, on the paywall and near the top of the app's Settings screen, is how Pro returns after a reinstall or on a new iPhone. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.

Your alarms, streak and morning history do not transfer in this version, because they are stored only on the device. Export them from the Streak tab first if you want to keep them.

09 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for anything unlawful, or to harass or endanger anyone.
• Photograph another person for an AI photo mission without their agreement, or submit content that is unlawful, sexual, or otherwise something you have no right to send.
• Send anything to the verification endpoint other than a genuine mission photo taken by the app, or call that endpoint from anything other than the app.
• Interfere with, overload, probe or attempt to circumvent the verification endpoint, its rate limits or its allowances.
• Reverse engineer, tamper with or modify the app, or use it in a way designed to falsify mission verification or entitlement state.

We may rate-limit, suspend or refuse a per-install pass that abuses the verification endpoint. Doing so never disables your alarms: the alarm engine runs entirely on your device and does not depend on our server.

10 Not a medical or safety device

MissionAlarm rings through Apple's alarm system, the same one the built-in Clock app uses, which is why it comes through silent mode and Do Not Disturb at your system alarm volume. That is the strongest mechanism iOS makes available to an app, and it is still not infallible. An alarm can fail to ring for reasons we neither control nor can detect, including:

• The iPhone is switched off, or the battery is flat.
• Alarm permission was never granted, or was later revoked in iOS Settings.
• The alarm was switched off, edited, deleted, or set for a different day or time zone than you intended.
• The app was deleted and reinstalled, which removes the alarms with it.
• Someone stops the alarm from the Lock Screen. Apple's slide-to-stop control is part of the system alert. We cannot remove it, move it, relabel it or hide it. Sliding it stops that ring, and MissionAlarm rings again within seconds, but a run of repeated stops, or a stop iOS does not pass on to the app, can still end the morning.
• A fault in the device, in iOS, or in our own software.

And one reason that is ours, on purpose: once your three free mornings are used and MissionAlarm Pro is not active, the app switches your alarms off, as section 3 describes, and says so on its Home screen.

Missions involve physical activity and movement around your home. Only attempt a mission if it is safe for you to do so. Stop if you feel pain or dizziness, and speak to a doctor before starting any exercise routine if you have any reason to be uncertain. Do not attempt a mission while driving, while operating machinery, or in any situation where your attention needs to be elsewhere. Take care moving around a dark house, particularly near stairs. You are responsible for your own safety and your surroundings while using the app.

11 AI verification is a judgement, not a fact

The AI photo missions ask a third-party AI model to judge a photo. That judgement is probabilistic and it can be wrong in both directions. We do not guarantee that any particular photo will pass, or that a passing photo means the task was genuinely done.

Because of that, every failed or refused verification offers a one-tap swap to a physical mission that counts as a full completion, with your streak intact. A failure of our verification, our server or your connection is logged as our failure, never as a skipped morning.

12 Availability and changes to the app

We may add, change, or remove features, and we may end support for older versions. Where a change removes something you paid for, we will say so in the app rather than let you find out at 6am. The app requires iOS 26.1 or later; a future release of iOS may require you to update the app to keep it working. We do not promise uninterrupted availability of the verification endpoint, and the app is built so that the endpoint being down never stops you from finishing a morning.

13 Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will ring on any particular occasion.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country you live in.

14 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or for missed appointments, missed work, missed transport or any other consequence of an alarm not ringing or a mission not passing.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim arose, or ten US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

15 Apple

• This agreement is between you and GlitchedLab only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer-protection claims.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

16 Termination

You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription: do that in your App Store subscription settings, as described in section 5. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms, in particular section 9. Sections 13, 14, 15 and 17 survive the end of this agreement.

17 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, and it does not prevent you from bringing proceedings in your local courts where the law gives you that right.

18 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect for your continued use. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the app and, if you have a subscription, cancel it in your App Store subscription settings.
